A voice and a bow that carry two shores — from Carnegie Hall to the room next door.
Nesrine sings and plays the cello as one instrument — a single, human voice made of string and breath.
French and Algerian, she writes and produces music that moves between classical rigour and Mediterranean warmth, between the concert hall and the campfire. Her cello holds the low, aching root; her voice rises over it in Arabic, French and beyond.
She has carried this music across the world — great halls and small rooms alike — always chasing the same thing: the moment a room of strangers breathes together.
